What’s new in Evidenta

Every release, without marketing wrap. Judge the pace yourself.

1.18.0new

The security log, documents from the client, and a tax calendar you decide on

An owner and a manager now have a security log in settings: who signed in and when, who downloaded what, and whether anyone from Evidenta looked at the firm’s data. A client removes a file they uploaded by mistake themselves, and the upload asks up front which document it is. A new version of the tax calendar is offered to the owner, who decides row by row.

1.17.0

The portal for every client, and the VAT payer register

The client portal can be opened to the whole client list at once: the bulk invitation goes out under your firm’s name, and for every contact you decide what they receive. Evidenta now asks the VAT payer register who really is a payer, and speaks up on the day a client becomes unreliable. The portal fits a phone and speaks the client’s language.

1.16.3

Clearer lists and filters

A release all about the lists you spend the day in: a client’s name in a document row opens the client, tag filters take several tags at once, and a long name no longer pushes the row menu off the edge of the screen.

1.16.2

Evidenta has a Help Center

Instead of one long documentation page, every task has its own article with pictures, a tour and search; the question mark in the header offers the articles for the very page you are on. Data-box files in Documents say where they came from and lead back to the message.

1.16.1

Data boxes say when they are next collected

Every connected data box shows when its turn comes round, and the data box list reads as a list rather than as paragraphs. The code from your authenticator app is sent when you say so, and the client detail page fits a phone.

1.16.0

Data boxes inside Evidenta

Connect a client’s data box and Evidenta collects it every hour on working days, files the messages and their attachments against the client, and tells whoever looks after them. Alongside it: two-factor sign-in, a dark theme, and a way to split one client’s obligations between several accountants.

1.15.0

Rebuilt notifications and one home for documents

E-mails arrive in the reader’s language, and settings let you decide per category what rings in the app and what goes to e-mail. Missed deadlines roll up into one daily summary, and documents have one home — and one rule about who sees them.
